On 15.2.2018, TCU SISU Team conducted the seminar on social innovation and social enterprise to share the social innovation ideas and social enterprise experience of social innovators in Myanmar. On the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Yi Yi Win (manager of the SISU team) delivered welcoming speech to audiences.
Firstly, Dr. Aung Myat Lwin (Oriental Century Travel & Tour) shared the project idea on Community Based Tourism in Shan State.
Secondly, Dr. Swan Saung Oo (Trust Oo Social Enterprise) shared the experience on Health Care Call Center Project.
Thirdly, Mr. Pone Nya (Recycle Myanmar) shared his social innovation idea on supporting street children and sustainability through waste collection.
Fourthly, Ms. Saw Ni Thara (Forver Top Travel & Tour Company) shared her experience on Community Based Tourism in Chin State. Finally, the participants and social innovators discussed the common challenges the social innovators face in their project and how they resolve these challenges and issues. After that SISU teams took group photo together with the participants and social innovators. The session was ended at 3:30 pm.
