Under the SEASIN Project, TCU SISU is conducting social innovation activities for rural women who have no regular income. On 9.12.2018, TCU SISU launched a training on tailor-made design and sewing to thirty women from the villages near the university. The training will be ended on 27.1.2019. The purpose of the training is to ensure the rural women’s regular income by creating their own business on sewing in their home. Also, the SISU opens the sewing-machine room for those women to practice to increase their capability. In addition, occasionally TCU SISU invites popular designers from Yangon to TCU SISU to share their success stories and experience to the rural women.
